So, the last 1 1/2 wks have been pretty wild. I really wish I would have told you about them instead of waiting so long. Let me start w/ the 18th of June - I made a shower cake for a co-worker and ended up eating about 4inches worth. This was a BAD thing because it made me crave sugar in a BAD way for 3 solid days. Finally on June 20th I gave into the cravings and ate a bunch of lemon bars (I made them for a friends B-Day) then that night I went to a concert where during the intermission they gave out bite treats - I had 3 or 4....lets say 4! Shame Shame I know your name!!!! This lead to a gain that I had to work out - and I did but, geeze wizz - not where I wanted to be!
So on the 20th I went to a friends birthday party (I haven't seen them since February) and everyone there (who I knew) was in shock when they saw me. They couldn't believe how "thin" I looked. I saw one lady whom I had talked w/ tons of times. When I said HI she looked at me like I was a freak - later she admitted she didn't recognize me. She said my hair was way longer and the body much thinner....just like a new person ;) That felt pretty good!
I mentioned in earlier posts about my sister getting me some designer jeans. Well, when I first put them on, they were a bit too tight for my liking and I decided it may be a while before they went into the public w/ my body in them. Needless to say, this is not the case anymore. I have since worn them out 2x - they are comfy and fit nicely! In fact, I have since picked up 2 other pair to tool around in. My jeans are officially 12's... i don't know how long it has been since I have been able to wear those! Brian had been telling me not to buy in 34's cause he wasn't ready to be wearing such "small" clothes so, I bought him some 36 jeans and shorts. Yesterday he said "since you are going out....I don't mind if you look into getting me some 34 pants...the 36's are a bit baggy and require a belt" Such a man!!
Well, the next 3 weeks are all about getting the weight loss stabilized and maintaining what we have melted away. I go to the Dr's tomorrow to check in - I am sure she will be surprised! Today was our first "other" food day. I don't think Brian ate near enough and I feel like a stuffed pig. According to my calorie counter I short ate about 245 calories but, I feel like I ate 1000's more than I should have - we will see what tomorrow brings!
When on P3 (for the next 3 weeks) the goal is to keep our weight w/in 2lbs of LIW. If at anytime we go over the 2lbs we have to do a correction day. True protocol is a steak day - nothing to eat for breakfast or lunch then at dinner you get the biggest steak you can eat w/ an apple or raw tomato. I have heard about chicken, egg & protein shake correction days. But, as a beef eater, if I have to have one it will be steak. During R1 I never had a correction day. The highest I got was about 1lb over. I pray I have the same luck this time.
Well, I will go for now... more on Weds - my next day off! Lighter Later!
