I didn't realize it had been a week since I last posted...YIKES! Ever so sorry!! I need to be better at this. If if makes you feel any better, I haven't even been watching TV. I don't know where my time has been but, it hasn't been w/ the computer or TV!
Anyhow, I have had several ups and downs over the past week. This past Saturday I went to a Bunco party and the theme was "Mexican" and since it was Bunco - it was a snack-luck. I knew there weren't going to be too many healthy options for me so, I went prepared to not eat. That lasted about 8 minutes. I filled my plate w/ veggies (something healthy right?!) and some rice crackers. All was good until the Rotelle & Velveeta came out... OMFG!! I at about 12 dipper chips loaded w/ melted cheese. They were so good. Within about 10 min. of eating them, I could feel my fingers swell up. I knew it was going to be doom on Sunday morning. Needless to say, I was up on Sunday and thought about doing a correction day (was .2lbs from the "2lb" over mark) but, I decided to hold off and drink lots of water. By Monday morning, I was back down. As of this morning, I was at 204.0. This is a difference of -1.4lbs from my LIW.
I am pretty stoked I have been able to maintain over the past 35 days. I have been eating rice and foods w/ sugars (BBQ sauce & dried fruit) but, have stayed away from sugar chocolates, dairy, wheat, potato and corn products. I think this has made a world of difference as well. The only dairy I have had (with the exception of the SF white chocolate powder in my Americano's) is some yogurt. I ate some plain yogurt w/ several drops of the Valencia Orange liquid Stevia to assist in some stomach issues. Other than that all has been good. Every once in a while I have a craving but, that is usually when I haven't eaten and find myself getting hungry.
I found some new ice creams (my weakness!!) which are sooo tasty. They are made w/ coconut milk and sweetened w/ agave syrup. No processed corn syrups, cane sugar, dairy or soy....and yummy goodness. They have several flavors (Chocolate, Mint Swirl, Coconut) which are all delish. Lately one of my biggest addictions has been flavored nuts by Sahale. They are sort of pricey but, the flavor combinations are out of this world. I had vanilla cranberry cashews, lemongrass flavored nuts.. on and on... very tasty!!
Well, I hope everyone is doing well. I will try to keep up on this a bit better. Tomorrow night I start cake decorating class w/ my mom and one of her co-workers.. I need to make sure to keep the piggies out of the frosting ;) Take care!!
