R1P3 Day 11

Happy Easter everyone!! I hope the Easter Bunny found his/her way to your house :) I know the bunny skipped right past this place as the dishes are still in the sink and the floors haven't been swept!!

So, this morning I weighted in at 205.0lbs. I am pleased that I have been within my 2lb requirement for the past 11 days. I haven't needed any protein days (aka Steak days) but, I have been eating a ton of red meat. I swear I was a caveman in a previous life (isn't that what they ate? A ton of red meat? hmmm I don't know but, lets say they did :)

Here is what has been going on the past few days. I loaded up on the Russell Stovers sugar free chocolates because they sounded good but, after about 5 (yes 5) I decided they really aren't all that. I didn't find them sweet enough for me. I think I am getting used to my own coconut crack which is pretty sweet. Now don't get me wrong, this DOES NOT mean I am going to give them up, it just means I am not going to make them a part of my "must have it now" foods. Those raw cacao nib truffles I told you about on Friday, on the other hand, will be a "must have" splurge (they aren't that cheap) and I will use those to fill the super craving.

So, yesterday, I went to lunch w/ my dear high school buddy and we went to Ruby Tuesdays. What a great restaurant! I ordered the lunch Turkey Burger Mini's w/ salad bar. When I ordered I asked for NO bun on the burgers and instead of fries I requested the mashed cauliflower (I heard it was good there - and it was). This order was no problem for them. When my mini's came out, they had the lettuce, tomato, special mayo and pickle on top of the patties. My girlfriend (who had never eaten there) got the same thing as me and was pleasantly surprised on how tasty everything was. I found my meal out to be a great SUCCESS!!! Yea me...at least for an hour because it was in that time I gorged on the RS SF candies!

We are headed to my sisters in-laws for Easter dinner and I am the one bringing the sweet treats. I ended up making my special Chocolate Turtle Cake (lots of caramel in it) and a 4 layer carrot cake w/ a pudding type filling & cream cheese frosting. I am proud to say that I didn't taste but 1/2 table spoon of filling or frosting. I relied on the husband for flavor testing :) If there are any leftovers, they will be going to work w/ me tomorrow for I don't want those cakes in this house... temptation is not friend buy my enemy!

I am a bit worried about tonight's dinner. I think I going to have to rely on the fresh fruit to fill me up. I don't want to eat too much ham for its pretty salty and won't be eating the cheesy potatoes cause of the potatoes and all the cheese... Hopefully there will some other, more healthy choices.

Well Peeps (that is friend not sugar coated marshmallows) have a good Easter and we will fill you in with more goodness later!!
